Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Occupational Therapist and why do I need one for my home?
An Occupational Therapist is a registered healthcare professional who helps people overcome physical, cognitive, or environmental barriers to daily activities. In home design, an OT ensures adaptations are clinically matched to your exact mobility needs, preventing falls and ensuring long-term safety.
Does an accessible home have to look clinical?
No. Homes Reimagined combines clinical OT expertise with thoughtful interior design. We use considered materials, concealed support structures, suitable lighting, and practical layouts to make homes feel personal while remaining accessible.
How does the adaptation process work?
It starts with a clinical consultation and home environment assessment by our Occupational Therapist. We then create bespoke 2D space plans, mood boards, and material selections. Once approved, we coordinate with our trusted construction team and project-manage the entire build to completion.
Do you help with Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG)?
An independent OT assessment can support a Disabled Facilities Grant application, but eligibility, acceptance and funding are decided by the relevant local authority.
